Cody the Crocodile Contemplates his Water Wise Propensity tells how one young crocodile learns what it means to use water wisely. Sarah the Sea Lion finds Cody wasting precious water by overwatering his plants and leaving the hose on while he plays in the water. Sarah helps Cody to appreciate that drinking water is a valuable resource because most of Earth’s water is too salty to drink. The friends begin working together to save water by watering plants with a drip system instead of a hose, turning off the water while brushing their teeth, and filling up the sink when they do the dishes. By doing so, Cody and Sarah do their part to make sure there is enough water for everyone to use.
